Search the Library Catalog What is the MORE Online Catalog? The Friday Library is one of 30+ libraries in west-central Wisconsin that have combined their catalogs to serve you better. You can check out and return library items at any of the participating libraries using one library card.

The MORE online catalog, which can be used from any computer connected to the Internet, allows you to:

Search through some 750,000 books, cds, tapes, and movies.

Have items from other MORE libraries sent to your local library.

Place holds on items that are currently checked out.

View your patron records to see what you currently have checked out, renew items, and check if you have any fines.

BadgerLink
is a comprehensive site created especially for Wisconsin residents to allow them to have free and easy access to magazines, newspapers, video resources, and sites for government, reference and education. It is sponsored by the Wisconsin Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

WISCAT
is the statewide bibliographic database for Wisconsin. It contains 6.7 million bibliographic records with local holdings statements for 1,270 libraries of all types throughout Wisconsin. The libraries listed in WISCAT are willing to loan many of the materials through established statewide interlibrary loan channels. If you want to obtain an item listed in WISCAT, make a printout of the record and take this printout to your local public library or to a school, academic, or other type of library you are eligible to use. Ask the library staff in that library to obtain the materials through interlibrary loan. Do not directly contact the library listed, if it is not your local library or if you are not eligible to use it directly. Libraries are governed and funded by many different types of agencies and jurisdictions, and most will not be able to serve you by mailing materials directly to your home, office, or other location. If you have questions, contact your local public library for information on interlibrary loan policies in your area.

HeritageQuest
provides access to one of the largest collections of genealogy material in the country. Included are over 25,000 word-searchable family and local histories. To access Heritage Quest from a home computer, have your library barcode ready and click here.

Novelist includes reviews and annotations for over 125,000 fiction titles. Other features are Author Read-alikes, What We’re Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. Create and save book lists of your favorite authors or series. Novelist is available in the library and at home to those with library cards issued by the Friday Library.
